Description
ORA Red Zoanthids
The zoanthids (Order Zoantharia) present a nice diversion from corals.Hardy and small, they may be kept by beginning hobbyists, even in small tanks. But, best of all, they are often brightly colored. While available in all sorts of colors and patterns, the red varieties seem to be among the most prized. With their many reds (reddish orange to reddish purple, including a violet center), the aptly named ORA Red Zoanthids are an extremely desireable strain. It tends to form dense clusters of small polyps.Though it dislikes powerful, direct water flow, it does appreciate strong chaotic water movement!this helps to bring it food (especially suspended particulate organic matter), removes its mucal discharges and other waste products and prevents sediments from fouling the stolonal mats of its tight colonies.ORA Red Zoanthids may be kept at any tank level under low-medium lighting with moderate-strong water flow.
